This is my recording of a community participation meeting held on September 25, 2024 to review a proposed four story building at 3551 Packard Street in Ann Arbor. The meeting was led by developers MHT Housing and Issa Properties.

MHT Housing and Issa Properties are excited to initiate community engagement for a new senior affordable housing project located at 3551 Packard Street, Ann Arbor. This project aims to address the growing need for affordable housing for seniors in our community by providing a thoughtfully designed living space tailored to their needs. The proposed development will consist of a newly constructed, four-story building that will house a total of 50 residential units. In addition to the residential space, the building will include approximately 1,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor, which will be integrated to serve both residents and the surrounding community. As part of the development process, the site will require rezoning to a Planned Unit Development (PUD) to accommodate the specific needs of this project.
