This is my recording of a citizen participation meeting held on June 4, 2024 to review a proposed 19 story apartment building at 611-633 Church Street. The meeting was led by local architect J Bradley Moore and representatives from the developer Core Spaces, Schenk Realty, and DLR Group.
From the meeting notice:
The property owner is proposing to construct a high-rise apartment building containing approximately 204 dwellings in a mixture of 1,2,3,4,5 & 6 bedroom units.
This project went before the Design Review Board on May 15, 2024 (Legistar)

UPDATE: MLive reported on August 26, 2024 that developer Core Spaces has revised the project, and now plans to build a 20 story building slightly south of the originally proposed site. The new site will have the address 625 Church St, and includes parcels at 621, 625, 633 Church St and 1207 Willard St. A parcel at 611 Church St (which includes Rick’s American Cafe nightclub) will no longer be part of the project.
