Ann Arbor City Planning Commission: June 4, 2024

Jun 4, 2024 | Planning

This meeting was held in person at City Hall.

APPROVED: Recommendation that City Council approve the rezoning of 41 parcels in the Washtenaw Avenue area and 18 parcels in the East Stadium Boulevard area to Transit Corridor Zoning district (TC-1), and designate certain lengths of Washtenaw Avenue and East Stadium Boulevard as Transit Corridor Street Type. (Legistar)

DEFEATED: Rezoning 7.6 acres in Pittsfield Village (2270 Parkwood Ave) from C3/R3 to R3 (Legistar)

  • A motion to table the discussion was defeated.
  • A staff memo contains more details about the rezoning, including the addresses of each parcel. (link) The parcel is currently split between C3 (Fringe Commercial) on the northern edge, and R3 (Townhouse Dwelling). This split was a result of zoning changes along Washtenaw Avenue made in 1960.
  • This rezoning did not go before City Council.
