This is my recording of a public meeting held on November 19, 2024 to review proposed rezoning from PL (Public Land) to D1 (Downtown) for the Ann Arbor Downtown Library at 343 South Fifth Avenue, 319 East William, and 323 East William. The meeting was led by Ann Arbor District Library Director Eli Neiburger.
From the meeting notice:
A public meeting is being held by Ann Arbor District Library for the rezoning of 343 South Fifth Avenue, 319 East William, and 323 East William, which comprise the site of the Downtown Library. There is no specific development project planned at this time. The Library is requesting this rezoning to provide more options for the redevelopment of the Downtown Library site.
