Topics discussed included:
- A valuation study and ballot question for a municipal public power utility
- Rules for discussion and debate at meetings, e.g. how to make sure topics are not revisited against the will of a majority.
- How Council members will each use new $5000 annual travel budget, adding a rule to permit international travel.
- How Council will spend a new $100,000 annual budget for mailers to promote themselves to the community.
- Not on the agenda, but mentioned by City Administrator Dohoney: the loss of federal grant money could cost the City’s Office of Sustainability and Innovations (OSI) as much as $32 million and six staffers.
